2021 Chattanooga Mayoral Runoff Debate

2021 Chattanooga Mayoral Runoff Debate

A large field of candidates is now down to two. WTCI-PBS, in collaboration with WUTC 88.1 fm, and our community partners, is presenting a debate between the two candidates in the runoff election for Mayor of Chattanooga. We’ll talk about experience, priorities, and the future of Chattanooga with Tim Kelly and Kim White, Friday night, March 26th at 8 on WTCI-PBS.

Ray Bassett, host of WUTC's Scenic Roots, is our debate moderator.

2021 Mayoral Forums

In February, WTCI partnered with the Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce, the Community Foundation of Greater Chattanooga, United Way of Greater Chattanooga, The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, and our media partner, WUTC 88.1 fm, to produce a series of forums for candidates for Mayor of Chattanooga. The forums focused on three main topics: the local economy, cradle-to-career education, and civic infrastructure. The forums are moderated by Ray Bassett, the host of WUTC’s Scenic Roots.
