WTCI PBS Is Here to Stay, Despite the Closing of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting.

WTCI PBS Is Here to Stay, Despite the Closing of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting.

For over fifty years, the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB) partnered with WTCI and PBS to serve communities large and small in every corner of the country. CPB recently announced it will be closing its doors for good in January. Despite this, there should be no doubt: WTCI and PBS are not going away. Together, we are committed to building on CPB’s legacy and maintaining the trusted programming, public service, and community empowerment that have been at the core of our mission from day one. But to do that, we need your help.

The best way to support WTCI PBS today is to become a donor, joining countless Viewers Like You who’ve made PBS #1 in public trust for 22 straight years and PBS KIDS the most trusted educational media brand in America. Your donations at any level make what we do possible, from local series like The A List with Alison Lebovitz and Greater Chattanooga, to educational workshops and initiatives for educators and families. You help keep your neighbors safe with critical information during emergencies. And when you give, access to Passport puts over 6,000 hours of dramas, documentaries, and more right at your fingertips. We still need your help spreading the word to friends and family that WTCI PBS is here to stay. Together, we can ensure generations to come will be able to depend on WTCI as well.
