WTCI TO HOST FREE SNEAK PREVIEW OF POLDARK SEASON FOUR PREMIERE

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – August 30, 2018 –WTCI invites viewers to join the community PBS station on Thursday, September 13 at the Palace Theater for a special, free, preview screening of the season premiere of “Poldark’s” highly-anticipated fourth season. This breakout hit, based on the novels by Winston Graham, is a Mammoth Screen production for the BBC and MASTERPIECE and will debut September 30th on-air on WTCI.

Ross Poldark has enthralled audiences since the series began and this fourth season promises political intrigue from Trenwith to Parliament. This new season begins in 1796 and to defend Cornwall and those he loves from an empowered George, Ross must play the political game on a journey that takes him to the nation’s capital and into new perils. With episodes airing Sunday night’s from September 30 to November 18, this exciting season will follow the struggles of the Poldark and Warleggan families as their personal dramas and the national conflicts from Cornwall to Westminster and beyond.

‘PBS at the Palace’ is a free, monthly film screening series hosted at the popular downtown venue, the Palace Theater. Sponsored by the Tennessee Valley Federal Credit Union, Brody Jewelers and Allied Eye, this screening series features PBS content from MASTERPIECE to American Experience, POV and Independent Lens and provides a free monthly opportunity for viewers to enjoy quality, trusted programming in a unique Chattanooga venue.

Guests at the free screening will enjoy PBS gifts and learn about special membership opportunities. Doors open at 6 PM and concessions will be available for purchase. Seating is limited and tickets are available online at wtciTV.org/palace.
